Re: missing mkoctfile-3.6.3 on OS X

I'm a beginner, so my description is limited. I used Fink to compile  
octave, and I just used default options corresponding to "if you don't  
know what this is, then choose default..."

Actually, I found mex.m and mkoctfile.m in  
/sw/share/octave/3.6.3/m/miscellaneous/

Is there a problem with the directories octave is checking for local commands?
