Re: problems installing openmpi_ext

Hello,

Sorry for the delayed response (just got back from vacation).

Originally, I downloaded the libraries manually and then loaded them.  When I 
tried Pi that worked but when I tried helloworld, I got the following:

octave-3.6.4:4> helloworld
panic: Segmentation fault: 11 -- stopping myself...
attempting to save variables to 'octave-core'...
save to 'octave-core' complete
Segmentation fault: 11

I was told there was another way of loading these libraries using fink using

fink install openmpi-ext-oct364

Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find that in my list of fink commands.

There is a core that is dumped that I could send if someone wanted to take a 
look.
