Shane: do you have access to the server? For 3), I am just curious about memory, cpu and other resources like that. The server logs may contain that information. Also, I’m just kibbutzing here. This is great data and could be very insightful. Are there plans to use this to impact future development or other activities? What I am thinking here is that if foo() and bar() are the most frequently used calls, then it might be worthwhile to optimize foo() and bar() as a high priority item, or update the documentation around foo() and bar() and so on. Thanks for digging into this, John From: Carr, Shane [mailto:address@hidden John: 1) The traffic pattern is something close to a sine wave: it peaks on Tuesday every week and dips to its lowest point on Saturday. Usage also coincides pretty closely with the school year. 2) Here is a histogram showing the length of a session (number of commands entered at the REPL). It's a very nice decay. http://v.gd/1sae1L 3) I don't keep logs for run times and memory usage. That would be interesting to add though. 4) It's hard to say precisely how many "unique users" since a nontrivial fraction of the traffic are things like bots and spiders. One figure is that there are 15,765 registered users (which requires email verification). --Shane On Aug 23, 2015, at 5:22 PM, John Guin wrote:
