Re: Octave over SSH

I am using Octave 4.0.0. The octave GUI displays but some of the interactions
do not work e.g. I can't see what I am typing in the command window, but I
know it's working since the history window changes when I enter commands.

I only have two available graphics_toolkits: fltk and gnuplot, not qt. I
have just realised that, while ugly, gnuplot plots successfully over SSH.
See the results below:

GNUPLOT

FLTK
<http://octave.1599824.n4.nabble.com/file/n4681108/fltk.png> .

The debug information provides no indication of errors when connecting to
the TX1. When I plot using both toolkits the same message appears:

debug1: client_input_channel_open: ctype x11 rchan 6 win 65536 max 16384
debug1: client_request_x11: request from 127.0.0.1 46342
debug1: channel 4: new [x11]
debug1: confirm x11

I am unsure why fltk can't be used. It's much more aesthetically pleasing.
