There have been a few changes since 1.96.6:
- Hash tables sizes are now kept powers of two.
- Fixed GMP operations on big-endian machines.
- Support for 64-bit file offsets.
- Sped up loading a snapshot of the system state.
- Fixed `vpath' builds (builddir != srcdir).
- Use best-fit policy instead of first-fit to choose exception handlers.
- NetClients in and working

This is a release-candidate for GNU Smalltalk 2.0; if no outstanding bugs
(especially packaging glitches) are reported, I will release 2.0 officially
before June 30th.
