I cannot seem to find any trace of a TCP package anywhere in the current source, so the error is perfectly understandable. Funnily enough, this happens on some machines, but not on others, so I guess it is a branch in the code that doesn't always get executed.
No, Sockets == TCP (see packages.xml -- with the `s'!). The error occurs or not depending on what is your image path, and is caused by an inadvertent commit of a change to scripts/Remote.st that I needed to reproduce Nicolas' failure.
