did i install correctly?

hi there,

when i type `info ls` i get the man page for ls on the screen, but when
i type `info coreutils` i get the whole coreutils info pages, where i
can browse the ls subnode. is this default behaviour? or should info be
going to the ls info page when i type `info ls`? because that is what i
would prefer it to do.
