What is it?

    vcdautomenu is a shell script (bash actually) that takes as
    arguements 3 MPEG files and auto-generates a VCD image complete with
    an animated menu. The menu generated is another MPEG file (usually
    about 4mb and around 22 seconds long). This menu shows miniature
    clips of all three MPEG movies as well as the title of the MPEG's.

haven't tested it myself yet, but as soon as I get together 3 new
episodes of some of my favourite series I'll give it a try... :-)
