Roland,

Marcus and I have been building libio based .debs over the last few
days.  We are only a few packages short of being able to make a libio
tarball.  That's the base I'm planning to do the objdumps from.

Since all those packages are already sitting on fencepost, I was
thinking that I could just use dpkg -x to unpack them into a tree so
that you could evaluate them yourself.  Is that a good solution for
you?  That way if you have any crazy ideas or questions, or whatnot,
you could just go look at the binaries.  There appears to be more than
enough disk space.
