Hi Dawa,
Sorry for the delay, i was in vacation.
The Hurdppc project compound of three different subprojects:
- oskit work
Porting the oskit to PPC. Some work on libkern is in progress by me.
- osfmk work
Prepare osfmk to work on modern ppc machines as the macintosh, and
for the integration with OSkit.
The resulted microkernel will be called gnu-osfmk. I am reestructuring
the existing osfmk sources to use autotools instead of ODE (OSF
Development Environment, a horrible thing from the OSF). I think that
will be done in some few days from now.
Also i just released gnu-osfmig 0.01 (you can download it from
http://savannah.nongnu.org/download/hurdppc, the "Files" section of
the project, or checkouting from the gnu-osfmig CVS
module). gnu-osfmig will be the gnu-osfmk MIG implementation.
- hurd/glibc work
Prepare the Hurd to work on osfmk. Some work by Peter Bruin is
already available.
So, if you want to develop, you have many posibilities :)
