Re: [igraph] documentation question

I have a basic question about the documentation of the igraph R package. I see there is a .pdf on the CRAN mirror. There is also a considerably more lengthy "reference manual" on the sourceforge.net website.
I guess the reference manual is only for the C library and not the R interface -- and I guess we forgot to update the dates in the copyright notice ;) The reference manual seems to be in line with what we have in igraph 0.5.2 (the latest stable version), which was released in 2009.

More importantly, which do you recommend as an up to date manual on the software?
It depends on whether you use igraph directly from C or you use it from R. If you use it from R, use the document on the CRAN mirror or on the igraph homepage under the "R package" heading:

http://igraph.sourceforge.net/doc/R/igraph.pdf

If you are using igraph directly from C, use the reference manual for the C core:

http://igraph.sourceforge.net/doc/igraph-docs.pdf

Best,

The date of the document on the CRAN mirror is May 8, 2009. And it appears that the "publication" date for the reference manual is 2006. Is this correct? If so, is the reference manual up to date with the latest version of igraph?

Thank you,
Alisa.
