Here is an example.

g <- graph.adjacency(W, mode="undirected", weighted=TRUE, diag=F)
coords <- layout.fruchterman.reingold(g, weights=E(g)\$weight)
plot(g, layout=coords, vertex.shape="none", vertex.label=NA, vertex.size=0)
