Ok, I have fixed this. I can send you a source R package if you like,
or you can download one from or nightly build server at
https://code.google.com/p/igraph/downloads/list (possibly only
tomorrow or the day after tomorrow).

You can fix it for yourself as well if you prefer that, you need the
changes in the indexing.R file:
