I'd like to install cvs on my hosted website where I dont have access to inetd.conf and I can't run cvs as root. Is there another way to run the cvs server so I can access it remotely using my maccvs pro client?Do you have a shell account on the server hosting your website? If so then you can probably use CVS there. If so, how do you access your account?
Except that he wants to use MacCVS Pro, probably for Macintosh development, and a shell account will not help him there.
I'd contact your ISP and see if they have any suggestions. - rmgw http://www.electricfish.com/hawkfish/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Richard Wesley Electric Fish, Inc. address@hidden "Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words.
