problem with cvs log -d |

one of my
colleagues modified a set of files three days ago. I need to back out what
he did and I cannot contact him to find out which files he
touched.
I wanted
to use the date range feature of cvs log to see all commits from the developer
in question on the given date, but I cannot seem to be able to get the date
format correct. I have tried many different formats, of which, I've listed
only a couple:
cvs
-v
Concurrent
Versions System (CVS) 1.9 (client)
bass33>cvs log -d"2001-5-8" -wcsm
cvs [log aborted]: Can't parse
date/time: 2001-5-8
bass33>cvs log -d"May 5 2001<" -wcsm
cvs [log aborted]: Can't
parse date/time: May 5 2001
cvs log
-d"3 days ago" -wcsm -N
this just
lists every file with a log entry for the given developer
I cannot
seem to be able to specify a date.
anybody
have any ideas?
