Limiting cvs log

Hi all -

I am attempting to figure out what changes I made to a set of files I 
got from a vendor last year.  cvs log spits out waaay too much 
useless info including files I didn't modify, no matter what settings 
I use.

All I really want is something like:

RCS file
date    version comment
date    version comment

RCS file 2
...

but ONLY for the changes I made in a date range on the main branch.

This seems like a common problem, but I have not been able to find a 
solution or work one out myself, so any suggestions gratefully 
appreciated.
