I have a discussion with our team here weather it is better to use one
repository for the whole company and have a deeper structure or in
contrast to this allow several repositories?
Our current CVS grew up to 2GB within a year and we have 30-50
actively developed (sub)projects on it (tendencially
increasing). Further we plan to use CVS from inside and remotely. And
we not only want to store source-code in CVS but also
project-documentation, intranet-infos, etc.
What's your mind/experience about this concerning the following
criteria:
- admin-effort
- security
- flexibility
- what else
Thanks!
-Felix
