Let me rephase the question again, "How long do you want to wait for this
developer to resurface begore you stop trying to push this change on us?

We're leading by choosing to keep the status quo.

My latest post on this was, "CVS must allow any file to be checked in.  If,
somehow, your patch makes it through, "cvs ci -f" should override the
behaviour."
