[CVSNT] Setting up pserver |

Hello again,
due to some problem (described in an earlier posting) regarding our
UNIX file server I'm currently trying to setup a CVSNT service using
pserver authentification. ntserver is no good for our purposes because
we would often access the repository using JBuilder4, which does not
support nt authentification.
Anyway, I did not even succeed in accessing the service properly using
command line or WinCVS1.3beta GUI. Here's the problem as seen by
WinCVS,
login works but accessing a repository does not.
----snip-----
cvs login
Logging in to :pserver:address@hidden:2401E:\CVSRepository
*****CVS exited normally with code 0*****
cvs checkout FAS (in directory C:\) ====> same error when using, e.g.,
cvs init
cvs checkout: authorization failed: server gis.uni-muenster.de
rejected access to E:\CVSRepository for user FAS
*****CVS exited normally with code 1*****
----snip-----
I've allowed full access to everybody in E:\CVSRepository and E:\
Anybody an idea?
I set a "HOME" environment variable pointing to my cvsnt installation
directory, and put an empty .passwd file there (as described in that
install document), and committed a "SystemAuth=no" in the config file
in E:\CVSRepository\CVSROOT, and finally, I wrote a "passwd" file
containing the line "FAS:!FASDeveloper" where FASDeveloper is a local
account on the Windows Server.
