I had thought that "cvs edit" (and all CVS commands
for that matter) were recursive by default.
Anyway, I think "cvs edit" is more typically used on
individual files since one usually doesn't announce to
everyone that one is going to modify all files within
a hierarchy. What exactly do you want to do.
If this is a bug, it should be fixed, but since it
shouldn't affect normal usage of "cvs edit", it
doesn't have a high priority.
