Do the Entries file in the CVS subdirectories look correct?
(for any directories in the sandbox with affected files)
ie. could the Entries files have been corrupted somehow?
If the Entries files are missing entries for the files in question
then that is why WinCVS is displaying "?". If this is the problem,
try doing a clean checkout to a new directory and then copy your
modified files into place and reattempt the commit.
Also could there be capitalization differences between what WinCVS
is expecting and what the server has on the repository (assuming you
have a Unix server). WinCVS often makes capitalizion changes (ie
all lower case directories can get added as all caps on the Unix
server).
Cheers,
Teala

Subject: Win CVS Not Recognizing Some Files
Help, Win CVS has suddenly stopped recognizing some files. These files
now
appear as "?" question marks even though they are still in the
respository.
When I try updating these files then WinCVS comes up with "C" for
conflicts
and tells me to move the files out of the way. This is driving me crazy
because I cannot commit my work. Any suggestions would be gratefully
received.
