Yes, but why do you want to?  The revision numbers should be
considered internal to CVS, and the only external use should
be as opaque identifiers, and in this case "1.100" is just
as good as "2.0".  If you want to use human-meaningful labels,
that's what tags are for.

(If you really want to do that, look at the -r option of
"cvs commit".)
