The simplest way is to run "cvs log -rrev1::rev2" and parse the line in
the output that says:

        total revisions: n;    selected revisions: m

"m" is the number you want.

And note that there aren't necessarily 3 revisions between 1.10 and
1.13; some of them may have been deleted.
