Server Responses

I am working on writing a small client to talk to the CVS server, and I am
having some difficulties parsing the responses as they come back from the
server.  I remember seeing somewhere that you can tell CVS to break the
responses down into a more parseable format.

I am using the Valid-Respose command to tell it "ok" and "error", but I was
thinking there was a way to breakup the sentences that CVS sends into little
chunks.  Anybody know how, or know where to point me to find out?  Thanks!
