I have been trying to get vss2cvs.pl to work on my system. However, during the import, it keeps importing files from c:\ instead of c:\vss as I specified in SSROOT. Also, it keeps append the word “CVSROOT” to my already defined CVSROOT, i.e. the c:\src\cvsroot becomes c:\src\cvsroot\CVSROOT.
I am running windows 2000 with both Cygwin (c:\cygwin) and ActivePerl (c:\perl) installed.
Here are the parameter I used:
C:\perl vss2cvs.pl SSROOT=C:\VSS CVSROOT=/src/cvsroot SSPROJ=TEST_PROJ
However, if I type the import command directly on DOS window, it seems to import fine:- C:\CVS –f import –m “testing” “TEST_PROJ” fromVSS transfer
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks, Ting |
