Mabye it's time to ditch collabnet once and for all.  They seem to be
far more hindrence than help at this point.  Hell even sourceforge would
be much better (at least for hosting the project -- not the mailing list
as it should probably just stay right where it is).

(and sourceforge too has an inherent interest in supporting CVS devel!)

If someone could extract the raw CVS repo we could move it anywhere.

The only trick might be getting ownership of the domain itself
transferred to a less partisan place.....

The problem is that it's impossible for many of us to even get
registered in the first place given the borked nature of the stupid
registration system and the other broken systems it relies upon.
