Okay.

Sure, but ssh transport may also use public-key authentication which
some consider to be much more secure than the standard password.

Education is always a good thing.

You may wish to investigate how ssh users may make life easier for some
situations by using public-key authentication whereby they would get
prompted for a pass phrase instead of a password by default, or they
might be able to setup ssh-agent or other proxies to remember their pass
phrases for a time.
