There are a quite a few different alternatives:

  <http://www.cenqua.com/fisheye/>
  <http://statcvs.sourceforge.net/> (requires Java)
  <http://freshmeat.net/projects/cvstat/>
  <http://cvsplot.sourceforge.net/>

Try searching for "cvs statistics" and it should turn up a bunch of 
different projects.
