CVSNT (Linux/Unix/Windows/Mac) already versions keyword expansions, and
already has -kd and -ku (dos line endings and unix line endings) in
addition to all the Unicode support which started this discussion off.
I don't work on that part of the code so I can't tell you how it's all
done - but you know where to get the source.
Oh - and CVS users on the iSeries do very much care about EBCDIC support
;)
