I was wondering if it was possible to run two cvs repositories on one machine?
Our development tool (JDeveloper 10.1.2) is compatible with CVSNT 2.0.58. The
latest version of Jdeveloper is compatible with CVSNT 2.5. Once a workspace is
MIGRATED to 10.1.3, it cannot be opened in 10.1.2. I'd prefer that users who
are working on an application check out stuff for 10.12 from a 2.0.58
repository, and checkout stuff for 10.1.3 from a 2.5 repository, and hopefully
never mix things up. I don't know if this can be done.
I wanted to stay away from the idea of TWO versions of the same application in
the same repository (that is, something like: MyApp_for_JDEV1012 and
MyApp_for_JDEV1013). I don't know if the newest version can talk to an older
repository or the older can talk to a newer, but in either case, I'd need to
have a different name for the same application.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
