cvs commit aborted

While commiting my new code to the cvs repos eclipse crashed.
Afterwards I tried to commit my new code using the commandline but I
always get the same error as listed below:

monschter:~/Code/svng-school/doc suls$ cvs ci -m"benutzerrollen
tabellen hinzugefuegt" doku.tex

cvs [commit aborted]: Unknown format character or not a list attribute:
V

Does someone know what the problem is? Might the repository be
corrupted somehow?
