From the client end I'm getting the following (assuming a kerberos ticket has already been requested by now):
$ cvs -d :gserver:<hostname>:/var/cvs checkout testcvs checkout: GSSAPI authentication failed: Unspecified GSS failure. Minor code may provide more information
cvs [checkout aborted]: GSSAPI authentication failed: Unknown code krb5 154 The kerberos server appears to authenticate fine...May 15 15:32:00 dnsntp1 krb5kdc[6551](info): TGS_REQ (7 etypes {18 17 16 23 1 3 2}) <ip_address>: ISSUE: authtime 1179231979, etypes {rep=16 tkt=16 ses=16}, nick.wales@<hostname> for krbtgt/<principal_name>
and the syslog on the cvs server gives the followingMay 15 15:32:00 cvs xinetd[2170]: START: cvspserver pid=2219 from=192.168.34.228 May 15 15:32:00 cvs xinetd[2170]: EXIT: cvspserver status=1 pid=2219 duration=0(sec)
Unfortunately none of this is giving me a lot to go on in order to fix it, even google is drawing a blank... any further advice would be much appreciated..
