I am pleased to announce the release of GNU moe 1.3.

GNU moe is a powerful, 8-bit clean, console text editor for ISO-8859 and ASCII character encodings, with a modeless, user-friendly interface.

The homepage is at http://www.gnu.org/software/moe/moe.html.

The sources can be downloaded from http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/moe/ or from your favorite GNU mirror.

This version is also available in lzip format. If your distro doesn't yet distribute the lzip program, you can download it from http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/lzip.html

The md5sums are:
ca057de812a26a2acd34828f833110ab moe-1.3.tar.gz
4965c5f2993d4cdd69fad25cbb7cba9b moe-1.3.tar.lz

This release is also GPG signed. You can download the signature by
appending ".sig" to the URL.

Changes in version 1.3:

* The command "goto offset", which moves the cursor to a given byte in the buffer, has been added.

* A null pointer access ocurring when emergency_save can't open the DEADMOE file has been fixed.

  * All the relevant signals are now handled or ignored.

Please send bug reports and suggestions to address@hidden

Antonio Diaz, GNU Moe author and maintainer.
