GNU libunistring is a library that provides functions for manipulating
Unicode strings and for manipulating C strings according to the
Unicode standard.

Here are the compressed sources:
  https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/libunistring/libunistring-0.9.8.tar.gz (3.6MB)
  https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/libunistring/libunistring-0.9.8.tar.xz (2.0MB)

Here are the GPG detached signatures[*]:
  https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/libunistring/libunistring-0.9.8.tar.gz.sig
  https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/libunistring/libunistring-0.9.8.tar.xz.sig

[*] Use a .sig file to verify that the corresponding file (without the
.sig suffix) is intact. First, be sure to download both the .sig file
and the corresponding tarball. Then, run a command like this:

  gpg --verify libunistring-0.9.8.tar.gz.sig

If that command fails because you don't have the required public key,
then run this command to import it:

  gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys
462225C3B46F34879FC8496CD605848ED7E69871

and rerun the 'gpg --verify' command.

This release was bootstrapped with the following tools:
  Autoconf 2.69
  Automake 1.15
  Libtool 2.4.6
  Gnulib v0.1-1712-g82edd0e68

New in 0.9.8:
* The data tables and line breaking algorithm have been updated to Unicode
  version 9.0.0.
* In the include file unigbrk.h, the function uc_grapheme_breaks has
been added to accommodate the new UAX#29 rules involving 3 or more
  consecutive characters.
