Unifont 15.0.05 Released

From: Paul Hardy
Subject: Unifont 15.0.05 Released
Date: Sat, 3 Jun 2023 20:10:09 -0700

Unifont 15.0.05 is now available. This is the last release planned to
include TrueType files in its default build. In the future, they will
still be buildable manually using the "make truetype" command in the
font directory. The corresponding OpenType font files have been part
of the releases for over a year now, and will be taking the place of
the TrueType fonts.

This release includes a new Hangul Syllables block (11,172 glyphs)
contributed by Minseo Lee, generated with his modifications to three
combining patterns in the Unifont package's johab2ucs2 Perl script.
This release also includes a few changes to Chinese ideographs.
Details are in the ChangeLog file.

The next planned release is of Unifont 15.1.01 in September 2023, to
align with the expected September 12th release of the Unicode 15.1.0
standard.
