Here's how you can try to replicate the error I have seen with MIME
attachments, assuming that you are using Gnus as a mail reader.

1. Send yourself a message with nothing else in it except for a single
   PDF-file as an attachment.

2. When you have received the message, go to your mailbox summary,
   select the article with space, then press "K v". In my system Gnus
   will claim to have saved the MIME part into a file, but the file is
   nonexistent.

Remove all garbage from header email address when replying, or just
use firstname.lastname@syk.fi .
