adding date to the summary buffer

Hi,

I didn´t have a
"gnus summary buffer lines" format in my gnus.el file

I added that:
;;gnus summary buffer lines
(setq gnus-summary-line-format "%U%R%z%I%(%[%4L: %-23,23f%]%) %s\n")

because it is the default.

But opening gnus
there was no change in my summary buffer.
May be, because this is the default.

it looks like this:

How  can I add the date at the end of the lines,
in order to know when it was sent?

In the manual it says:
add: d for the Date in DD-MMM format.
add: o for the Date in YYYYMMDD format.
T in HHMMSS format:
What does HHMMSS format mean?


I would like the format: DD-MMM-YYYY
Is that possible?

What do I have to change in the
gnus-summary-buffer-line?
(setq gnus-summary-line-format "%U%R%z%I%(%[%4L: %-23,23f%]%) %s\n")
