Hi Matthias,

When you are tring to export your account, do you try to use a new password?
if it is the case it won't work. You should use the password set during the
creation (or migration) of your account. (described in section 3 here 
https://ring.cx/en/tutorials/gnu-linux)

Hi!

I ran into a problem while trying to export my account to the DHT to 
share it on multiple devices.
No matter which password I choose, I always get the error message "Bad 
password".
I am using a fresh install of Ring (built on 2016-11-10 05:54:42 UTC) on 
Ubuntu 16.04.
