As I mentioned before this could be done by a web designer with lots of CSS and
a way to flip sessions back and forth between style. This would allow many 
different styles for other types of catalogs, perhaps even a mobile device
version for small screens. I think besides a little setup work, much of could
all be done with CSS so virtually all of the same code could be reused. 

Are there any excellent CSS designers out there that have interest to take this 
on?
