IDL4 is really good! I played with it the last couple of days and
I like it very much.

I tried the code with:
gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release) [FreeBSD]
GNU assembler version 2.11.2 20010719 [FreeBSD] (i386-unknown-freebsd4)
using BFD version 2.11.2 20010719 [FreeBSD]
and it works pretty good here.
gcc-2.95.4+ up to gcc-3.0.3 are broken for some reason.
