It's a very nice text, and likely very helpful to newbies.  And it is
very accurate, thanks a lot for it.

You might want to update it just a bit.  There is now the task server,
which you can repeat four times (instead of physmem five times :).
And there is a mentioning of "CVS l4hurd" in a header which should be
"CVS hurd-l4".  Nothing else popped out to me when skimming over it.

I have updated the README a bit (actually was doing it before I found
this mail again).  It should be more helpful now, but says nothing
that isn't on the Wiki (except the above).
