Yes. That may be a mistake, though it might be necessary for some of the 
asm version.

I recently changed convert_image to work with subimages, so I think this 
is an issue with the wrong prototypes being picked up, since I didn't 
apparently make the changes everywhere. pixel traits are only used for the 
general purpose conversions, like RGBA<whatever> to RGB<whatever> and 
grey.

I'll take a look this morning.
