I found the problem. It seems that I can't use letters with accents, for example, if you change the "realm" to:

...

    const char *realm = "Informe usuário e senha"; // a brazilian message like "Inform user and password" in English

...

The problem happens, and only with Firefox (and probably Iceweasel).
