GNU libmicrohttpd is a small C library that is supposed to make it easy to run an HTTP server as part of another application. GNU libmicrohttpd is fully HTTP 1.1 compliant and supports IPv6. Finally, GNU libmicrohttpd is fast, portable and has a simple API and (without TLS support and other optional features) a small binary size (~32k). This release basically incorporates ng0's hard work over the summer as part of the Google summer of code: * cleaned up logic tracking cork/no-buffer status of sockets to eliminate useless calls to setsockopt() * avoids uses of setsockopt() where possible * uses writev() to reduce number of syscalls and possibly number of IP packets (if available) So big thanks to ng0! You can download GNU libmicrohttpd from * https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/libmicrohttpd/ and all GNU FTP mirrors. * Our git repository at https://gnunet.org/git/libmicrohttpd.git Please report bugs to our bugtracker at https://bugs.gnunet.org/. The documentation (including a reference manual and tutorial) can be found at https://www.gnu.org/software/libmicrohttpd/. Happy hacking! Christian |
