Dear libreboot list,

Having received a x200 I am happy with the prospect of moving to libreboot soon. I am not able to flash the x200 already now with libreboot (I do not yet have a device for hardware-based flashing[x]). The system has a very old bios version 2009 something
and in the interim I thought I would upgrade to a newer one until libreboot.

my doubt:
Does the existing bios have an impact on the possibility of changing to libreboot? Could I for instance risk installing a bios, that the proprietary lenovo guys made in
a way as to prevent a switch to free software libreboot?

Thank you

alex

[x] is a raspberry Pi working for that?
PS: Somebody from Berlin that like to flash an x200 to libreboot?
