Subject: OpenDWG Replacement - LibreDWG
To: address@hidden

Hi Felipe,

on my search for open source projects to read/write DWG files I have found the page "OpenDWG_Replacement" and the "LibreDWG" project
which is listed there. This project is absolutly that what I was looking for! Some years ago, I spend some time on developing a software to read DWG
files but had to stop this because of time and my limited expiriences in those days. Since then I am very interested in this area and want to get active again.

I really think that we need a free implementation besides OpenDWG and RealDWG and that's why I would like to offer my help in this project.
I have very good experiences in C and are familiar with the specifications publicated by the Open Design Alliance.

I would be glad to hear what the short term plans for LibreDWG are and whether you need another developer?

Kind regards,
