WTFPL presents an unnecessary barrier to Free Software adoption. For this unnecessary barrior, it makes no contribution to Free Software. It excludes people who people bound by workplace standards, living accommodations (such as provided by educational institutions), computer use accommodations (such as puplic terminals, which are the _only_ option for some), morals, good taste, minors (who's FSF contributions should never be dismissed and who's guardians cannot be ignored, legally or ethically), or even local laws. It borders on discrimination. It should not be included in Free Software. No FSF resources should be waisted on it.

Fuck those people.

It was never meant to be used for any actually useful software. If
someone use a joke licence for their proper software, that's on them.
The joke is still funny.

Really? Why did you even bother writing that? How is that helpful? I
guess it provides you with some kind of catharsis, but I don't know you.

The wtfpl site (http://www.wtfpl.net/showcase/) showcases useful
software licensed under the terms of the license and asks: "Know some
important or noteworthy work using the WTFPL? Let us know in the
comments!". Then they go on to defend the validity of the wtfpl as a
license in the FAQ entry: "Is the WTFPL a valid license?". So I don't
understand where you get that impression.

This is not appropriate tone for this list. There's a good chance some
of "those people" are on this list, but even if not, it's not the way we
want to talk here about the differing points of view we encounter while
advocating for free software.
