Hello Patrick,

I think your ideas are quite forward-thinking but complex, since they
and span across many fields, from philosophy to economics. I can
understand what you are proposing, however there are many issues in the
digital world which we still need to figure out before we start thinking
about the material world.

I think that in some cases, 3D printing and libre designs might prove to
be a solution right now and in the long run, perhaps nanotechnology will
give you the answer you need.

But as I said, we still need to solve some issues. For example, I
recently wrote to the Licensing Team to ask them if there's a way to
make sure that manufacturers can't build an object from a libre design
without disclosing their modifications, otherwise the copyleft would be
void.
