[libreplanet-discuss] FSF endorsement criteria for educational courses (

Subject: [libreplanet-discuss] FSF endorsement criteria for educational courses (esp conversion masters)

Dear list,

A number of universities offer "conversion masters" courses in computer
science, software engineering, electronic engineering, and related
disciplines (broadly, information technology or "IT").

Conversion courses like this are postgraduate courses intended for
graduates from a different discipline.

Here is an overview of conversion courses:

and here is an example of a computer science conversion course:

http://www.bristol.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/2016/eng/msc-computer-science/

Does anyone maintain a list of IT-related conversion courses that have a
focus on, or that are at least friendly towards, free software and/or
free hardware?

Alternatively, does the FSF (or similar, e.g. FSFE or FSFLA) have a set
of endorsement criteria for educational courses, along the lines of the
FSF's endorsement criteria for software, hardware, repositories and
distributions?[1]

Thanks,

Sam Pablo Kuper
