This assumes that x86_64 uses /lib64 and /usr/lib64 -- though this might
be true for RedHat, it certainly isn't going to be true for all Linux
distributions; Debian are intending to use /usr/x86_64-linux/lib for
example.
Therefore I don't think we can accept this into Libtool in its current
form.
